India now has more than 50,000 Corona Virus Cases! Out of which More than 35,000 are Active Cases.
But the good news is that more than 15,000 people have recovered.
Unfortunately more than 1700 people have succumbed to the virus.
India which is currently in its 3rd Phase of Lockdown is still witnessing a huge rise in the number of corona virus cases.
Corona Virus cases as of 6th May 2020.
On April 1,2020 India just had 2059 Corona Virus Cases but there was a huge spike in the number of cases in the Month of April.
On May 1,2020 India had 37,262 Cases and now as on May 6,2020, India has crossed the 50,000 Mark.
With Corona Virus recovery rate of 29%, the total number of recoveries in India as of today is 15,257.
While Canada with the recovery rate of more than 40% has the highest recovery rate in the world.

Maharashtra being the worst hit state, CM Uddhav Thackeray has asked 25,000 doctors to sign up to treat patients affected by COVID-19 or they license would be cancelled.

With hospital running out of ICU beds, Maharashtra Government has requested hospitals, institutions and buildings under the management of Railways, Mumbai Port Trust, Indian Army, Navy to make sure there is availability of ICU beds & Isolation centers as a part of preparedness across Maharashtra.
